Description

A grill and griddle at standing height. A wood or charcoal fire burns at the center under a grate for searing, with a 40-inch steel cooktop around it, enough for eight or more. The CORTEN storage base keeps firewood and tools close, and when dinner is done, the cooktop lifts off and the fire carries on into the evening.

Features

Setup
  • Delivered by freight to the curb. At about 410 lb in total, plan for three or four people, or a furniture dolly, to move it into place.
  • Allow 30 to 45 minutes for the cooktop to heat through before cooking.

How do I care for it?
  • Season the cooktop like cast iron, using the included seasoning puck.
  • After cooking, scrape the cooktop clean while warm and wipe on a light coat of oil to build a natural, low-stick surface.
  • The CORTEN bowl and base weather to a protective rust-colored patina and need no paint. Runoff from the patina can mark light-colored stone or concrete, so choose its spot accordingly.
